The products from Anastasia Beverly Hills have easily made it to the top of my list of makeup products that I can’t live without. I’ve even tried dupes for a couple of products and it just wasn’t the same. 2017 was the year I really got into buying quality makeup (I finally mastered sales at Ulta and Sephora). I’m pretty sure that is attributed to me watching a million Youtube videos that make me feel like I need all the products. So now I hope I can pass that on to you and make you feel like you need all the products! And for these gems, you won’t need much convincing!
Brow Wiz
A good eyebrow pencil is essential. Even if I am doing the most minimal makeup look, doing my brows is non-negotiable. I’ve tried various other methods to fill in my brows and this pencil has yet to fail me. I’ve used other drugstore brow products, and for me personally, none of them last as long as this one does. This product has really great pigmentation. I even tried to be frugal and get a dupe for it and I was disappointed. This pencil is easy to use for anyone who isn’t a makeup expert and I guarantee you will love it just as much as I do! You can find it from Ulta for $21 here.
Glow Kit: Sun Dipped
Since I have been introduced to using highlighter I’ve been obsessed with having a glow! When I first started out using highlighter there weren’t many options on the market. Now there are million different choices. If you are looking for a product that has good quality options, this is it! With four different shades, this is a pretty decent price point at $40 from Ulta. What I like about these shades is that they are blendable, buildable and pigmented. If you want a natural glow you can have that. If you want to be extra with your glow, you can also have that. Either way, this palette will leave you looking flawless!
Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette
I waited for months for this product to go on sale. Like I said earlier, I’ve finally mastered the sales and anyone will tell you that I’m super frugal. So when I finally got Ulta’s 20% of prestige brand coupons and I had Ulta rewards money I took the opportunity to grab this! And of course, literally 2 days after I bought it, Ulta had on sale! Either way, I love this palette. It is beginner friendly and the colors are versatile. The shades are super pigmented and it doesn’t take a lot to create a beautiful eye look. You can find it at Ulta for $42 here.
Lipgloss: Sepia
I’m still getting back into glosses, but I got a cute mini sepia gloss for free when I bought the eyeshadow palette and I really like it! This gloss actually stays on and has nice color payback. I’m a fan of anything neutral, so this gloss in the shade sepia is a winner! You can find it for$16 from Ulta here.
Liquid Lipstick: Trust Issues
Liquid lipstick has become my go-to simply because I’m not a fan of re-applying if I don’t have to. I also don’t like taking my lipsticks out of the house because there is a chance I will lose it! I always get compliments whenever I wear this shade. This liquid lipstick has a smooth application, does not dry out your lips and stays on for hours! These are $20 from Ulta.
Have you tried any of these products? What suggestions do you have? Let me know!
Ahh I need all of these 😍 that highlighter palette looks gorgeous!
It’s amazing!!
so, there’s something about liquid lipstick that makes me feel like i can never have it enough. bummer. 😛
Same, lol!
Such good tips! ☺ ♥
Thank you!!
I loveeee that liquid lipstick!
Same! I even got the mini set 🙂
Oh my god, I totally agree with you that the brow wiz is essential, I have been using it for 3 years now and I honestly couldn’t imagine my life without it! I have a few of the liquid lipsticks from ABH but I always find that they all crusty and thick on my lips where I have built it up loads and put too much on throughout the day!
ah thats such a bummer about the liquid lipsticks! It can be hard to find the right one for you!
I love the color trust issues. I’m obsessed with eyeshadow palettes. I agree eyebrows are a must.
Great post! I absolutely love my Modern Renaissance and Sun Dipped palettes. I have yet to get my hands on Trust Issues though – it’s always out of stock at the Sephora locations I visit!
I can see why it is always sold out! It is one of my favorite fall shades but I basically wear it year round!
I love all these recommendations! I love makeup and beauty product and trying out new items all the time. I will definitely have to hit Ulta or Sephora and try out some of these items you recommended. I was looking on getting a new eyeshadow palette and this one sounds perfect!
