It is time for my Fabfitfun summer box review! It is crazy to think I have officially been getting these boxes for a year. I started last summer and did my very first review that you can find here. The first box I got drew me in because they had a Foreo Luna in it. I also loved the concept of getting surprise goodies once a quarter, instead of monthly. I wouldn’t call myself a minimalist, but I don’t like a ton of unnecessary items taking up space so getting a batch of new products to explore quarterly was a perfect fit for me. Here is a quick list of (just a few) of the benefits of subscribing to FabfitFun:
Why Fabfitfun??
- You get to try new products you may not have discovered otherwise
- Each box is crafted to contain nice recognizable products that are full sized instead of samples
- Each box has items that cover the lifestyle category including beauty, wellness, fitness, and fashion that will have a value of at least $200
- They have additional sales such as the Add on sale and Edit sale where you can get many of your favorite products discounted
- You only pay $49.99 quarterly (4 times a year) which ends up only being around $16 a month! And if you use this link with the code “BEACHBABE” you can get your first box for $10 off!

Let’s first talk about how cute the actual box is! I love the tropical vibes this box gives and the color scheme. Each box teams up with a charitable cause and this season it was with Eva Longoria’s Global Gift Foundation USA organization which empowers and creates a positive impact on the lives of women, children and families in need.
This Fabfitfun summer box had a lot of beauty/skin products. It makes sense for the summer if you have more skin out, you want it to look hydrated, moisturized and glowy! This season I had a super high valued box at $452.95 and I only paid $49.99! To be completely honest, one product in particular did skew the value a bit because the retail value for it is $160 (!!!) alone. Keep reading to see what it was!
Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream & Brazilian 4 Play Moisturizing Shower Cream-Gel: $45

The Brazilian Bum Bum Cream has had a lot of hype around it so I was curious to see for myself what was so great about it. This product was one of the items I was looking forward to the most. I wasn’t aware that this brand made a moisturizing shower cream gel, but it was nice that these two came together. The cream is actually travel size but I don’t mind that because that is perfect for summer travel!
I must admit I have been loving the scent of both of these products and how nice they make my skin feel. You really do feel your skin soak up the Bum Bum cream when you apply it. I would agree that the shower cream-gel is very moisturizing. I generally don’t need luxury shower gel, but I would consider buying the bum bum cream in the future!
Jennifer Zeuner Star Double Necklace: $50

This double star necklace is too cute! This was an item that I got to choose and I knew I would get good wear out of it because it is gold and dainty. The necklace isn’t super flimsy so I’m hopeful that it will be long lasting because I really like this necklace, especially with the double chain.
Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream: $28

I’m a curly girl, so I know all about frizz, but I’m honestly not sure how to use this product on my texture of hair or how to get the maximum benefit from it. I usually need thicker products to really get results. This was an item that FabFitFun selected for me. I’ll have to do some research on how this product is best used and see if it works for me. This product is promising though and seems like it can solve all your summer hair problems!
Invisibobble® Original Duo Pack: $16

This is another product I’m interested in seeing how it works in my naturally curly hair! I think these are probably great for putting up my hair if it is straight and I don’t want any weird lines or tangles, but I am a little nervous that the coils on these hair ties could tangle with my natural coils. I love that these are supposed to be better for your hair though and not create any additional strain or breakage.

Generation Clay™ Ultra Violet Brightening Clay Mask: $39 and Intelligent Nutrients Refining Micro Polish: $57

In addition to selecting the rose gold masks, FabFitFun picked these two items for me. I’m a huge fan of clay masks as well, and this one also promises to do some brightening. FabFitFun clearly wants us to all have great skin this summer, so they included this refining micro polish that is an exfoliant for the skin.
Whish Exfoliating Foot Mask: $32

FabFitFun has got you covered from your head to your toes this summer! I’ve personally never heard of an exfoliating foot mask, but I’m willing to try it with all the sandals I wear all summer. This brand is very ingredient conscious which is always a plus!
Grace & Stella Rose Facial Spray: $25.95

Rose Spray is the perfect addition to the Fabfitfun summer box. I actually use a rose spray all year long to keep my skin refreshed and hydrated in the winter, but in the summer it is nice and cooling. I haven’t tried any products from the Grace & Stella brand, but I am enjoying this rose spray so far! It is also pretty hard to go wrong with a rose spray!
111Skin Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Mask (Set of 5): $160

Here is the show stopper of the box this season (or at least in my opinion): Rose Gold Brightening masks! The retail value of these 5 (!!!) masks is $160. First, these are very on brand for me, because I’m a fan of anything rose gold. Second, the packaging alone on these make you feel luxurious. I’m also curious to try any promising “brightening” products that can help me with some of my problem areas. I haven’t gotten to try these just yet — But I have a good feeling about these.
Which of these products would you have been most excited to get?? If you want to get your first FabFitFun summer box for $10 off you can use this code “BEACHBABE ” at this link and get your first box for only $39.99.
