I thought I would share with you the best blogging apps that have been really helpful on my journey! These apps for bloggers can really change the game. I think these apps can be useful for a new or an experienced blogger. Let me know if you’ve tried any of my recommendations! If you need a quick guide on how to even start a blog, I have all the details in this post here!

1.Trello
This is one of my favorite apps for bloggers. You might not think this would make it onto this list of best blogging apps but Trello is a recent app that I’ve gotten to organize all of my goals and priorities. This app is AH-mazing because I can use it on my phone or use the website. I’m able to really sort out all of my current projects and work streams in order to be effective. Trello better than just a to-do list because I can attach files. If you want to really slay your goals, use this app to get your life together.
2.Google Calendar
After I have all of my goals and priorities together I’m trying this new thing where I block out chunks of time to work on all of these things. I honestly like using Google calendar because of how I can lay out events and color code them. I have a post on Time Blocking where I share how I use Google Calendar to stay organized.
3.Wordpress
The actual app for Wordpress is essential for me because I like to check my stats on here and approve any comments that come in. If your site is through WordPress, you need this on your list of apps for bloggers.
4.Wunderlist
I am guilty of adding things to a list *just* to cross it off. I love making lists. Wunderlist helps me do a brain dump and sort my thoughts out. Again, this is another app where I like the aesthetic of it and how I can organize different lists.
5.Instagram
I’m such a visual person, so Instagram is one of my favorite apps. And if you aren’t already following me (you definitely should be) you can here. Instagram is the platform that I’m the most active on.
6.Preview
When I was coming up with my list of apps for bloggers, I couldn’t leave this one out! One of my goals is to be more strategic with my posts, and the Preview app helps me to do that. I don’t think I’ll be able to do a whole theme but this app at least gives me the chance to make my feed more cohesive.
7.VSCO & 8.Facetune
I use both of these apps for different things to make my pictures have that extra pop. I appreciate how with the filters in VSCO you can adjust how much the filter is on your picture. With Facetune I like to use the detail feature to make certain aspects of my pictures stand out. I also like the whiten/lighten feature in this app. I don’t like my pictures to be over-edited so I try to use them minimally.
9.Pinterest
I’ve been a Pinterest girl for a while now. Back in the day, I would use it to find all my random DIYs to try and recipes to make on here. I didn’t even realize how beneficial Pinterest could be as a blogger. It’s actually my second biggest source for traffic right now! I use it to promote my all of my blog posts here and find other beneficial blog and business resources. I also have a post here where I share my strategies to get me to over 800K monthly viewers on Pinterest.
10.Tailwind
Now that I use Pinterest as a business tool, I also use Tailwind to help me keep up and stay organized. I mostly use Tailwind on my computer, but I like to also use it on my phone to make sure things are running smoothly. I have seen a huge increase in traffic to my Pinterest and blog since using Tailwind. I’m able to get more visibility to my pins by joining tribes! I wasn’t sure if I would really like it at first, but I took advantage of the free month you can get with it! If you use my link here, you can also have a free month!
11.Hootsuite
I mostly use this app to schedule tweets. As you can see on my twitter, I don’t tweet too much but I want to become more engaged on this platform. I know I can use Hootsuite for scheduling other posts as well to my FB page (which you should also like & follow) but I haven’t played around with that feature too much. It’s super easy to schedule content and helps me automate a few things so during the work day I don’t have to think about it as much.
What do you think are the best blogging apps?
I love making lists, too! I am definitely going to check out Wunderlist. I use pen and paper most of the time to make my lists, but I’d love to have it on my phone as well.
Yeah this app is perfect for sorting the list out too! So easy!
Loving me some Pinterest these days Antonia. Pinned and Tweeted.
