
What are Positive Affirmations?
Positive affirmations are positive and encouraging statements that you say to yourself. The more you hear how amazing you are, the quicker your brain will believe that it is true. And who better to hear great things from than yourself?!
Everything really does start with your mind. Your mindset will really shape how you live your life and even each day. Have you ever heard the statement “What you focus on, you create more of” ? It is absolutely true. The more you focus on the negative in life, or your least favorite attributes about yourself the more you will notice them.
Just how you are able to hype up other women on the internet, you need to be able to do that for yourself! You are an amazing Boss Lady who can accomplish anything she sets her mind to! If you feel comfortable or are in a space to do so, you should definitely say your positive affirmations out loud!
When should I use Positive Affirmations?
All the freaking time!! Seriously, it is part of my morning routine or really any time I’m feeling stressed about work or before I’m about to do something big. It helps me so much especially before a meeting I have to present at or before having a difficult conversation at work.
I just like to repeat a few of my favorites and then I remember who I am and I can take on whatever challenge is in my way! Positive affirmations help to keep me grounded and give me perspective on the big picture and that I more than capable of tackling the obstacle in my way.
In the graphic above, there are a few of my favorites, but feel free to come up with some of your own! Use whichever affirmations resonate with you- You can’t just say them to say them, You gotta believe they are true about you!
Will saying Positive Affirmations solve my problems?
Short answer – No. They will not. But saying them will hopefully give you the confidence and courage to take on whatever comes your way!
